BHOPAL: A capital court in Bhopal has announced a compensation of Rs 46 lakh to the family of a 12th-grade boy who is in coma for 5 years. Going as per reports, a boy of grade 12 met with an accident in the Piplani area in 2017. The order came against the backdrop of a complaint filed by the victim’s mother.
Prithviraj Singh Rajput, a resident of Shamshabad district Vidisha was hit by a car near the Nizamuddin Colony on April 17th, 10 am while he was heading for his exam. He was immediately operated for his spinal cord and ear injuries following which he sank into coma. Ever since the mother of the victim had approached the court through her lawyer demanding justice. The court ordered the insurance company to release the compensation. The driver and the owner of the car have also been penalized.
