Bhopal: CM Shivraj Singh graced the closing ceremony of the medical camp held in the memory of the parents of the State health minister. The camp held at Ektapuri Dussehra ground in Ashoka garden Bhopal was organized by State health minister and inaugurated by Governor Mangubhai Patel on the 3rd December.
Addressing the gathering at the closing ceremony, CM Chauhan congratulated Minister Sarang saying,” I congratulate you for the Mahayagya that you held under the Kailash Prasoon Sarang Foundation to serve the underprivileged.” The CM on account of successful conclusion of the camp appealed to the people to get themselves jabbed against the virus. He also felicitated the doctors with aletter of honour for their service.
The camp was held for three days, for which eminent doctors from across the nation and the state were called. This camp has been the first of its kind where Sonography X-rays and Major tests were conducted free cost. However, for certain tests like MRI and CT scan were referred to hospitals in Bhopal. The patients were also prescribed medicines free of cost during the camp. Nearly 50 doctors from 28 major hospitals across the country participated in the camp. As many as 65,000 people have availed free screening and treatment in the camp.
