INDORE: CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan performed the Bhumi-Poojan of 73 CM Rise Schools at a state-level program held at Indore. At the Bhumi-Poojan which was performed virtually, CM inaugurated 72 schools built to be built across the state at the cost of Rs 2519.12 crore. The state govt aims to create an inclusive and joyful school community supportive of development. This would motivate kids to be self-reliant and promote holistic developement of the child.

The CM interacting with the gathering cited the establishment of the school as a big achievement. The CM Rise schools will adopt a smart education system that would enable students from rural areas to access high-quality education. The schools will bring a radical change in the state education system, CM added.

The Shivraj govt aims to proceed with the project in two phases. Under the first phase, 360 schools will be opened at each district and block level from 2022-24. In the second phase that commences from 2024 unto 2031, one CM Rise School will be started in every society at a distance of 10-15 km. The count would reach 8,735 across the state.

Salient features of the CM Rise School

The schools would have world-class infrastructure, transport facilities, nursey, and pre-primary classes in addition to classes from 1-9th. The school will have smart classrooms that promote digital learning with qualified staff.
