Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav reached Delhi late last evening to meet senior party leader Om Birla. CM Mohan congratulated Om Birla on being re-elected as MP. Today there will be a meeting of the parliamentary party in Delhi wherein the CM Mohan Yadav will participate.
BJP state president VD Sharma and both deputy chief ministers of the state Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla shall also attend the meeting. All 29 MPs of Madhya Pradesh will be present in the meeting. Most of the MPs including Shivraj Singh Chauhan have reached Delhi at 07 pm yesterday. VD Sharma and both deputy CMs had left for Delhi at 04.30 pm.
There will be a big meeting of CWC tomorrow on 8th June in Delhi. This meeting will be chaired by National President Mallikarjun Kharge at 11 am. Members, Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh and former minister Kamleshwar Patel will participate in it. The Lok Sabha election results will be discussed in the meeting. Digvijay Singh will present the summary report prepared on the crushing defeat in Madhya Pradesh. Congress’s action plan will also be prepared after the results.
Meanwhile, the Election Commission of India has lifted the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections. After March 16, government work shall pick up pace from today. Public hearings and Mayor Helpline will be available now. Demonstration rallies will also be allowed now. Pending government problems will also be resolved. Government employees were busy due to the code of conduct, due to which thousands of complaints remained pending.
