Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh cabinet on Tuesday approved the announcement of contractual employees in Mahapanchayat, a seal on many proposals including DA, Ladli Bahna and road.
In a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, many crucial proposals were discussed, The meeting approved the proposal to increase the dearness allowance (DA) for state government employees by 3%. The DA will now be 31% of the basic salary.
The cabinet also approved the Ladli Lahan Yojana, under which the cabinet approved the benefit of the scheme extended to women belonging to the family of tractor owners.
The cabinet also approved the construction of a new road connecting the districts of Jabalpur and Katni. The road will be 120 kilometers long and will cost Rs 1,200 crore.
The cabinet also approved the announcement of contractual employees in Mahapanchayat. The contractual employees will be appointed in various departments of the state government.
