Rewa: Chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan held a review meeting of Rewa district today as he connected with Rewa officials through video conferencing. CM was tough on those who sought bribe in government schemes.
In reviewing Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, officials told CM that 4300 urban houses have been approved in Rewa Municipal Corporation, 800 still remain incomplete. Contrarily, 83,928 houses have been approved in rural areas and the work of 78551 houses is complete.
CM Chouhan confirmed that it is the duty of the state to built the houses of people. There were 669 complaints received on CM helpline asking for an unreasonable amount. While guiding the officials to take immediate action, CM Chouhan announced zero tolerance towards corruption. He further directed to investigate and suspend the work of sub-engineers in the negligence of power distribution in Hanumana.
