Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced the Mukhyamatri Charan Paduka scheme for Tendupatta collectors. Saress, shoes, water bottle shall be given to tendupatta collector. CM Chouhan reached Sarai in Singrauli district today to lay the foundation stone of the Rihand Micro Irrigation Project costing more than Rs. 672 crores in a program organized at Sarai in Singrauli district.
“The aim of my life is to serve and uplift the weaker sections of society. It is a matter of pleasure for me that through Mukhyamantri Charan Paduka Yojana, my tendu patta collector sisters and brothers will be able to get saree, shoes, water bottle, and umbrella, which will make their life easier”, read a part of tweet posted by CM Chouhan.
On the completion of the scheme, 38000 hectares land of the farmers from 126 villages of the area will be irrigated. Addressing the people, CM Chouhan said that the government is needed by both the rich and the poor, but the poor are more dependent on the government. The chief minister also announced the inclusion of Bega tribe in the list of extremely backward tribes.
