Sidhi: The residence of Pravesh Shukla, the accused in the Sidhi urination case was razed on the order of the state government. The accused was arrested after the video of him urinating on a tribal man went viral.
As the authorities arrived at the accused house with a bulldozer, his family members claimed that the video over which he was arrested was an old one and has been brought to the forefront in lieu of the upcoming elections.
“Ever since I saw the video if Sidhi’s incident, my heart is deeply disturbed and filled with pain. Since then I wanted to meet Dashmat ji and share his sorrow and also wanted to assure him that he would get justice. I will meet him and his family tomorrow at his residence in Bhopal and express my condolences to the family”, tweeted chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Pravesh Shukla was apprehended in Madhya Pradesh after a video circulated widely depicting him urinating on another individual while smoking a cigarette. As a consequence of this event Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has decided to utilize the National Security Act against Shukla sparking significant political controversy. After evading capture from authorities initially. Shukla was eventually apprehended by the police at 2 AM. He is currently undergoing interrogation. Shukla is facing charges under different sections of the Indian Penal Code the National Security Act, and the SC/ST Act. In connection with the investigation the police also interviewed his wife and parents.
