Bhopal: A three-storey building collapsed in Shahpura late evening on Wednesday killing one individual under the rubble. The incident occurred at a building in the A-sector area.
The victim identified as Ram Narayan was 65-year-old labour who succumbed to the injuries under the rubble while his son was rescued safely. SDRF was immediately engaged to rescue those injured.
An immediate compensation of Rs 4 lakh was announced by the District Collector Avinash Lavania to the family of the deceased labour. MP Bhopal Pragya Thakur also rushed to the spot to take account of the incident.
