BHOPAL: Death due to falls in borewells has been on a rise in Madhya Pradesh. After the death of Tanmay Sahu, CCTV footage of another boy who fell into a well has been making rounds on social media.
In the video, a boy playing cricket in the courtyard of his house fell into 40 feet deep well. One boy is seen walking along the elevated platform in the middle of the courtyard and slips into the well through a small grate covering it. The incident, however, did not turn into a major tragedy as the owners of the house acted swiftly and rescued him within three minutes.
The incident came to the fore after the boy started screaming for help and his friends playing nearby took heed of the sound and informed the adults in the house. The family members in the video are seen r the boy rescuing the boy out of the well using a rope. The incident took place on Monday evening in the courtyard of Pawan Jain’s house. ” The boy is safe now and did not sustain any injuries- said Mr. Jain”.
