VIDISHA: Nearly 24 hours after falling into a 50 feet borewell, Lokesh Ahirwar was rescued on Wednesday said, officials. A team of NDRF with earth movers and poklen machines was deployed to rescue the boy.
A tunnel was created parallel to the borewell, through which the boy was successfully rescued at 46 feet. Officials added that a platform was created to make sure the boy was not injured during the process of drilling. Lokesh was immediately sent to the Lateri community health center. Updates on the child’s health are awaited.
An 8-year-old boy, Lokesh Ahirwar fell into a 50 feet deep borewell on Tuesday afternoon while playing in Kher Khedi village, Vidisha district, MP. District administration, emergency squad, and police officials along with a medical team arrived on the spot as soon they received the information.
