Indore, Madhya Pradesh: Indore is going to host four major national and international level events in January next year. The major events include the Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan in Indore in January. Apart from this, the Global Investors’ Summit, the Khelo India competitions, and the G-20 countries’ conference are also going to take place. For this, a plan is being made by the corporation for the renovation and repair of major roads and intersections of the city. At the same time, preparations are also being made to make the guests coming to the city aware of the rejuvenation of cultural heritage, and cleanliness during this event.
Indore is going to host the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Sammelan for the first time. Representatives from the country and abroad will come to participate in this. In such a situation, the corporation is trying to improve the painted pavement on the airport road and the route from the airport to the Brilliant Convention Center and will also install road dividers and attractive street lights. Patchwork will be completed on the pothole of the road. Hundreds of Indians settled abroad are expected to come to Indore along with the President, and Prime Minister in the program.
The Global Investors Summit is being organized by the state government in Indore. In this, businessmen from the country and abroad, and representatives of companies will join and explore the possibility of investment in the state. In this event, the guests will be made aware of the innovations made by the Municipal Corporation for the cleanliness and hygiene of the city.
Under Khelo India Youth Sports Competition, Indore has got the responsibility of Kabaddi, Basketball, Table Tennis, and Weight Lifting sports competitions. More than 200 players, team members, and officials will come to this sports competition, which will start from January 31. The corporation will be responsible for the stay, food, and other arrangements of the players.
The G-20 summit of the world’s major countries is to be held in New Delhi on September 2023. Before this, there will be meetings of representatives of G-20 countries in different cities of the country. One of these meetings is also proposed in Indore on January 18. In this meeting, 60 to 70 officials will come along with representatives of foreign countries. The beautification work for all these major events is already under process by the state government.
