Madhya Pradesh: The Anti Terrorist Squad of Madhya Pradesh has successfully busted the organization Hizb-ul-Tahrir which was banned in India. Along with that, a total of 16 youths who were associated with the organization have also been arrested and are now under Police Custody.
The Anti-Terrorist Squad of Madhya Pradesh Police, in collaboration with Central Intelligence Agencies, has made a significant breakthrough by detaining 16 individuals allegedly linked to the globally banned organization Hizb-ut-Tahrir (HUT). This includes ten suspects from Bhopal, one from Chhindwara, and five from Hyderabad.
The operation was carried out after three months of surveillance and resulted in confiscating of inciting material, electronic gadgets, and over a dozen cell phones. Among those detained is Mohammed Wasim, the son of a prominent social worker working for an NGO.
The suspects are being interrogated to determine their association with the banned organization and the nature of their activities. This is a major achievement in the fight against terrorism and highlights the authorities’ commitment to ensuring public safety.
Hizb-ul-Tahrir is an organization which is operating in more than 100 countries but being a Terrorists organization, it is banned in India. This organization was not spotted in I ndia since 2010 but the ATS helped to detain this HuT Local Module.
