Bhopal- Union Home Minister Amit Shah recently visited Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh’s capital city. Welcomed warmly by the state’s Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Shah was greeted at the state hangar amidst numerous BJP leaders and supporters.

A focal point of his Bhopal visit was the unveiling of the ‘Garib Kalyan Mahaabhiyan,’ which serves as a performance review of the Shivraj government. Following this, Shah will lead the BJP Working Committee meeting in Gwalior. This significant assembly is poised to house over 1500 BJP representatives and workers from across the state, where Shah aims to instill strategies for upcoming political endeavors.

The itinerary for his short but impactful visit was well charted. Shah was expected at the Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium around mid-day to present the mentioned government review. Post this, a brief journey to Gwalior was on the cards. Shah was slated to address the state’s BJP working committee by late afternoon, elucidating the party’s future strategies and mission.

His engagement-filled day included a participative contact campaign in Gayatri Nagar and an important meeting at Hotel Adityad. Wrapping up his Madhya Pradesh visit, Shah’s departure to Delhi was scheduled for the evening, marking the end of a day dedicated to bolstering the BJP’s stance and vision in the state.
