Gwalior: A 7-year-old innocent girl was raped by a man from her village. The victim informed her family about the incident when she reached Tikamgarh. Hearing this, the family members were shocked. After this, the family members took the victim to Jatara police station and complained about the accused. The police have registered a case and sent the case diary to the Old Cantonment Police Station of Gwalior.
Actually, a family from Tikamgarh lived in a slum built in a liquor factory located in the old cantonment police station area of the city. Rameshwar Adivasi from the same village also lived there. One day the victim’s parents had gone to work in the factory. Taking advantage of this, the accused did a bad thing with her. When the family reached home after a few days, the victim told her family about her ordeal.
After this, the family took him to the police station and lodged a complaint against the accused Rameshwar. The police registered a complaint against the accused on zero and sent the case diary to the Old Cantonment Police Station of Gwalior. As soon as the Gwalior Police received the case diary, they registered a case against the accused under the POCSO Act and other sections including rape and sent a team to search for the accused.
