Bhopal: With communalism in the air, Madhya Pradesh in Central India witnessed an anti-apartheid environment on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi.

A video has been making rounds on Twitter, where Muslims on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanthi are seen showering flower petals on Hindus in the Hanuman Jayanti procession. Muslims were also seen distributing water packets to those participating in the procession.

A fresh blossom of brotherhood was witnessed on Saturday 15th April in a Rath Yatra that was taken out from Talaiya in Bhopal, passing through a Muslim area marked by a heavy police deployment. Members of the other community said they welcomed the yatra as brotherhood should be the real aim.

Meanwhile, keeping in mind the altercation that erupted in Khargaone during Ram Navami, heightened security arrangements were made. Security personnel equipped with high range binoculars were stationed to hawk the processions along with 500 others deployed to keep the violence at bay.

Severa outfits in Madhya Pradesh took out a procession in different areas of the state.
