Madhya Pradesh: According to a state health bulletin provided by the directorate of health services on Wednesday, a total of 17.4 lakh Covid-19 vaccine doses were administered in the state. In order to meet the state government’s December deadline, a ‘mega vaccination drive’ has been initiated in the state. In total, 8.30 crore vaccination doses were administered across the state. According to the health bulletin, the maximum doses were administered in Sagar district, where 80,230 doses were administered, followed by Raisen district, where 70,801 doses were administered, in Balaghat district 60,799 doses were administered, and Satna, where 60,258 doses were administered.

On the contrary, there has been an alarming increase in Covid cases just as all restrictions have been relaxed in Madhya Pradesh. 22 new cases were discovered on Wednesday, marking the first time in a month that the daily figure count touched 20 or more. Notices will be issued to all concerned over improper disposal. According to the state health bulletin, the active case tally has crossed 100 for the second time now stands at 104.
