Indore: A bus traveling towards Indore fell off a bridge near the Khargone district in Madhya Pradesh, resulting in the death of 14 people. It has also been reported that more than 20 people were injured in this incident and are currently admitted to the Hospital.
The bus had 50 passengers, and unfortunately, it fell off the bridge and landed beneath it. The area’s local people started a rescue operation, and the Collector of the area, Shivraj Singh Verma, also reached on time to ensure everyone gets rescued.
Following the event, the Madhya Pradesh Government announced that they’d be giving a total of Rs. 4 lakh ex-gratia to the families of the people who were deceased in this accident. It was also announced that the critically injured people would receive Rs. 50000 in medical assistance, and injured individuals would receive Rs. 25000.

A similar incident occurred on Sunday when the driver rammed the bus in the Andheri region in Mumbai. Fortunately, no casualties occurred in this incident, but reports have been filed against the driver.
