New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated a day today by raising the flag at the historic Red Fort in Delhi. He highlighted the future of India. Subtly expressed his views on political opponents. In a statement, he mentioned that he plans to grace the occasion next year depending on the ongoing support and blessings from the people.
In his speech, PM Modi drew attention to the events in Manipur. Expressed deep concern about recent outbreaks of violence, particularly against women. He said, “Manipur has been going through turbulence recently. Sadly innocent lives were. Our womens dignity was compromised. However peace is gradually returning to the region and India stands firmly in solidarity with Manipur.”
Taking an approach this time, PM Modi affectionately referred to India’s population of 1.4 billion as his “parivarjan,” meaning family members. This is a change from his addresses, where he would lovingly call them “my beloved brothers and sisters.”
The Prime Minister took pride in highlighting the achievements of his administration. He emphasized that their past accomplishments demonstrate India’s dedication and ability to reach its goals.
He confidently stated that under his guidance, India is on a trajectory to become the world’s largest economy in the next five years. He referred to this forecast as ‘Modis assurance’.
