Ever since the schedule for NEET MDS 2022 has been released, anxiety has prevailed amongst those appearing for the exam. Claiming the current dates of the entrance examination as an insufficient duration to prepare, aspiring medical aspirants are seeking postponement of the exam. #DelayNEETPG2022 Please has been trending on Twitter.

Students urge the centre to reschedule the dates to August. After a series of online protests, a section of students has started an online petition seeking deferment. “We are having to go through immense mental stress and pressure because we hardly have any time to prepare for the exam that will determine our future,” reads the online petition. Within a few hours of being launched, it has already garnered over 1000 signatures supporting the cause.

A day after the admit card was released NEET UG 2022 Deferment front, a group of students preparing for the exam wrote to the President of India the National Testing Agency and the minister of education for the issuance of an order to conduct the exam in August or early September.

The NEET MDS 2022 aspirants in the letter pointed out the issues faced by the students as well as interns who cannot appear for the exams. As per the details mentioned in the letter close to 5000 interns who served during the COVID-19 pandemic are ineligible to appear for the NEET PG and NEET MDS exams due to the delay in the conduct of final exams.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) officially released the admit card for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Master of Dental Surgery, or NEET MDS 2022 on Monday, 25 April 2022. Candidates appearing for the examination should note that the NEET MDS 2022 exam is scheduled to be conducted on 2 May 2022.
