New Delhi: Two photographs of WFI Chief Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh allegedly showing him making advances toward the complainants confirm the allegations. Moreover, his phone locations matching another’s testimony, a set of photos that confirm his presence at an event where an alleged incident of sexual harassment took place form a part of ‘technical evidence’ in the chargesheet filed by Delhi Police against the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief and BJP MP.
The chargesheet was based on the police investigation into the sexual harassment complaints filed by six top wrestlers. There has been no evidence on the Visitor’s register or in CCTV at the WFI office on Ashok Road in Delhi and Singh’s home to confirm the scene of at least two incidents of sexual harassment.
“Liable to be prosecuted and punished for offenses”, states the chargesheet of sexual harassment, molestation, and stalking under Section 506 (criminal intimidation), 354 (outraging modesty of a woman), 354 A (sexual harassment), and 354 D (stalking).
Meanwhile, WFI officials ina reply to the Police officials supplied four photographs, showing the presence of Brij Bhushan and the complainant in a foreign country (Kazakhstan). Based on these photographs, along with call detail records of witnesses, the chargesheet concluded that Singh was present at the locations of the abuse.
