New Delhi: Light to moderate scattered to fairly widespread rainfall with isolated thunderstorms and lighting are very likely over Southern India during the next 5 days. Isolated heavy or very heavy rainfall is also likely over coastal Karnataka from June 23 to June 27th. Over coastal Andhra Pradesh on June 24, Telangana on June 24 and 25th. Kerela and Mahe are also likely to witness heavy to very heavy rainfall from June 25 to June 27.
With this, the Northwest monsoon is likely to advance to further parts of India during the coming few days. Very heavy to moderate rainfall is likely in Maharashtra. Rajasthan is likely to witness heavy rainfall at isolated places from June 26, while heavy to very heavy rainfall shall mesmerise isolated places of Haryana and Punjab from June 25 to 27.
