New Delhi: The National Capital is battered with heavy rains one more time with the onset of monsoon in India. The dip in the temperature is being enjoyed by the locals byt the water logging problems has posed a serious challenge for the authorities and eventually the commuters. Water is over flowing in several locations causing hardships to the people staying there.
The Indian Metereological Department (IMD) has forecasted heavy rains for another few hours in Delhi region. The drizzles in the National Capital bought the temperature at 28.3 degree Celsius. However the humidity level was recorded at a higher graph of 72 per cent.
The IMD said that the maximum temperature in the region is expected to be around 38 degree Celsius. Light rains, thunderstorms and lightning have been anticipated for the next few days. The Air Quality Index (AQI) data released by the Pollution Control Board for Delhi region was recorded at a satisfactory level.
The AQI was recorded at 85 at around 1 PM which as per the records is a satisfactory level. Meanwhile, Delhi’s air quality index is recorded at a level of more than 400 per cent post Diwali season every year.
