Nainital. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar is coming to Nainital today on a three-day visit. During this, the Vice President will interact with the faculty of Kumaun University as he will preside its golden jubileeilee celebration. He will also address the students at Sherwood College and will also participate in other programs.
On 27th June, the Vice-President will preside as Chief Guest over the 156th Founders’ Celebration of Sherwood College. During this tour, the Vice-President will also visit Raj Bhavan, Nainital.
Preparations have been completed at the administrative level for the Vice President’s program. IG Nilesh Anand Bharane said that all necessary arrangements have been made for the security of the Vice President, including more than 400 policemen, three companies of PAC, one company of paramilitary force, the Intelligence Bureau, ATS and drone surveillance. Surveillance is being maintained at every level to ensure that there is no lapse in his security arrangements.
Here, the health department has also become alert regarding the visit of the Vice President. Three doctors from the district will be with him at all times. CMO Dr. Harish Chandra Pant said that the health department has made full preparations. Apart from this, Sushila Tiwari Hospital and a private hospital in Haldwani have also been reserved.
