Lucknow: The UP-Government issued new guidelines in view of the shortage of oxygen cylinders. As per the issue, oxygen will be supplied privately only to those who produce proof of dire need. If any individual is prescribed oxygen, then he or she has to provide the doctor’s prescription and Aadhar details. In addition, security arrangements have also been uplifted at the oxygen refilling centre.
With nearly 2.42 lakh patients undergoing treatment in the state. As per records, 33,106 patients were identified in the last 24 hours along with 187 deaths.
Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma and his wife tested positive for the virus. He tweeted this information and appealed to those in recent contact to get checked and follow the Covid guidelines. Dr Sharma tweeted, “today I and my wife tested positive for the virus. We are fully following the advice of doctors by making ourselves in home isolation. I urge those who have come in contact with me in the last few days to get them checked and follow the covid guidelines.”
Popular Front of India (PFI) agent Siddique Kappan Corona, who is lodged in Mathura jail, has been infected. He has been admitted to KM Hospital for treatment. Kappan was arrested on October 5 last year from Many Toll Plaza in Mathura for plotting riots in UP following the Hathras incident. So far, 38 prisoners have been infected in Mathura jail.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced a 28-day paid leave to corona-infected employees both for private and public services. The Chief Minister has said that if more than 10 people work in a shop, company, they will have to display covid rescue methods at the Met Gate.
