Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a high-level meeting on Monday evening in the wake of rising infections. Several mass gathering structures are directed to shut down their premises.
The State government has ordered schools up to Class VIII to remain closed from March 24 to 31. CM Yogi Adityanath held a high-level meeting with the state officials to pen down paramount regulations to restrain the spread. He directed special vigilance and caution in view of the rising status of Holi, Panchayat elections, and corona infections in other states. Apart from these, all educational institutions are ordered to pause their physical attendance from 25 to 31st of March where examinations are not being conducted.
The State administrator has instructed the villages to deploy nodal officers at the gram panchayat level and ward level in the cities. In addition, each district has also been asked to ensure the availability of one dedicated covid hospital. All processions and public functions demand prior permission from the local administrations.
