Lucknow: A headmaster in Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich district has been suspended after he was allegedly seen sleeping naked in front of students. The headmaster, identified as Suresh Chandra, was reportedly drunk at the time of the incident.

The incident took place on July 25, when Chandra was found sleeping naked in the staff room of a government primary school in Bahraich. Some students who were present in the school at the time saw Chandra and informed the school authorities.

The school authorities immediately suspended Chandra and informed the police. The police have registered a case against Chandra under Section 294 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), which deals with obscene acts in public.

Chandra is currently absconding, and the police are trying to track him down. The school authorities have also sent a notice to Chandra, asking him to explain his conduct.

The incident has caused outrage in the area, and parents have demanded that Chandra be arrested and punished. The police have assured the parents that they will take action against Chandra.

This is not the first time that a headmaster in Uttar Pradesh has been accused of inappropriate behavior. In 2019, a headmaster in Bulandshahr was arrested after he was caught on camera molesting a female student. In 2020, a headmaster in Kanpur was suspended after he was found drunk in school.

These incidents highlight the need for stricter action against school authorities who engage in inappropriate behavior. It is also important to create awareness among students about their rights and how to report cases of abuse.
