Lucknow: The second wave of the coronavirus has hit the country majorly and record daily cases have been observed in the past few weeks. The latest to fall on the clasp of the corona is UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath. He took to his Twitter account to inform this and also conveyed that he is in self-isolation and taking all necessary precautions as suggested by the doctors.
He wrote that after facing some early symptoms of the virus, he went to test covid, and the report of which has come out positive. All his official works are being carried out virtually as he remains in self-isolation. A day before some of his officers were also tested positive. They’re all quarantined and under medical supervision now.
“After initial symptoms, I got myself tested. My report is positive. I am in self-isolation and following doctors advice. I am doing all the works virtually,” Adityanath tweeted from his official Twitter handle.
UP is under severe night curfews and partial lockdowns since the second wave invaded the state in the past few weeks. Earlier, Akhilesh Yadav and other Bollywood celebrities were also found to be covid positive. Some of them have recovered while some of them still remain home quarantined.
