The poll was released just after the voting ended. It suggested that center-left Labour leader Keir Starmer would be the next prime minister. As thousands of electoral staff tallied the ballot papers at counting centers, the Conservatives absorbed their historic defeat. “UK gets its future back after 14 years”, said Keir Starmer while delivering his victory speech on Friday.
