VASAI: The bail plea of Tunisha Sharma suicide accused-Sheezan Khan has been adjourned by Vasai court until Monday a source said on Saturday. Sheezan is in judicial custody for 14 days.
The court on Saturday deferred the hearing after the Mira Bhayandar Vasai Virar (MBVV) police submitted they had not been able to record the statement of Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma as she was busy with post-death rituals and sought time till January 13 to put up their stand on Khan’s bail application.
Earlier, police had reportedly retrieved Sheezan and his ‘secret girlfriend’s’ chats. It was also revealed that Sheezan used to talk to many other girls. “Many important chats have been found on the mobile of the accused, during the investigation which has revealed that the accused started avoiding Tunisha after the breakup. Tunisha used to message him repeatedly, but the accused avoided her by not replying to her,” media reports claimed. His family days before held a press conference claiming his innocence. They had also said that Tunisha’s mother controlled her finances and she often had no money with her.
Tunisha Sharma was found dead on the sets of her show Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’ in Vasai Palghat district on December 24th.
