Palasner– A horrible tragedy happened on Tuesday, claiming at least 15 lives and injuring nearly 20 more. The incident occurred on the Mumbai-Agra Highway in Maharashtra’s Dhule district when a container truck collided with four vehicles and crashed into a hotel.

According to Maharashtra Highway Police, the unfortunate event unfolded around 10:45 am near Palasner village on the highway in Dhule. Initial reports suggest that the brakes of the container truck failed, causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle’s wheels. As a result, the truck collided with two motorcycles, a car, and another container from the rear before crashing into a hotel near a bus stop and overturning.

Tragically, the victims were individuals waiting at the bus stop when the accident occurred. Authorities were promptly alerted, and the police swiftly arrived at the scene. The injured were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals in Shirpur and Dhule for urgent medical attention.
