Strive to fulfil your dreams. A Tamil Nadu youth strived for three years to buy his dream bike. V Boobhati, a BCA graduate collected over 3 lakh coins of 1Re over 10 years. On Saturday evening, Boobhati went to buy his dream bike Bajaj Dominar worth Rs 2.6 lakh.
Boobhati has worked as a computer operator with a private company and for the past four years been helming his own YouTube Channel. On enquiring about his venture to save for his dream bike, he said, “I didn’t have so much money at the time. I decided to save money from the revenue earned from the YouTube channel.”
It is being said that the staff was initially reluctant to accept the money, however, later accepted it since they didn’t want to disappoint the youth. In response to the reason why Boobathi hasn’t given the coins to bank for converting them into cash, the manager said “The banks would charge 140 as commission for counting 1 lakh (that too in 2,000 denomination). How will they accept it when we give them 2.6 lakh in one-rupee coins.”
