Mathura: The police on Wednesday filed a case against three clerics in Mathura based on a complaint filed by a woman. The Station House Officer of the Sardar PS stated that a woman accused the clerics of Sadollah Mosque of rape.
As per preliminary information, accused number 1 Rashid raped the woman on the pretext of Nikah, following which two others also assaulted her sexually. She added that the secretary of the mosque whom she approached with the complaint, with the help of his associate helped the three to flee away.
At present, a manhunt for the absconding secretary and the fifth accused in on, the SHO said.
