MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case is getting more and more complicated everyday. There’s always a new angle attached to the case which unfolds each day. On Friday, Enforcement Directorate summoned Rhea Chakroborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and Shruti Modi with the probe of the case.

Actor Rhea Chakraborty arrived at the Enforcement Directorate office in Mumbai for questioning in the Sushant Singh Rajput investigation after her request to put it off was rejected by the agency.

Shruti Modi, the former business manager of Sushant Singh Rajput, has also arrived at the ED office after the agency asked her to appear before it today. The ED has also asked the late actor’s friend Siddharth Pithani to appear before the agency on August 8.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday said it has re-registered the Bihar Police FIR in the Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case to initiate its probe. Notably, the case was registered against six accused, including Rajput’s controversial friend Rhea Chakraborty, Inderjit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda and Shruti Modi. 

Earlier, KK Singh, father of Sushant has filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna, charging her with abetment to suicide, theft, wrongful confinement and cheating as well.

Meanwhile, the Central government had accepted the request of Bihar government recommending a probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the case.
