Ram Navami is a Hindu festival that is celebrated to honour the birth of Lord Vishnu’s incarnation, Lord Rama. This day also marks the end of the nine-day Chaitra-Navratri celebrations, celebrated in the Hindu month of Chaitra, which falls on the cusp of spring and summer.
Surya Abhishek, where Lord Surya will do Tilak of Ram Lalla for 4 minutes, is planned on this auspicious day. The successful testing of Surya Abhishek has been done in the Ayodhya Ram Mandir (temple) in the presence of scientists. Equipment is being installed in Ram Mandir for the same. According to the Chairman, Mandir Construction Committee preparations are going on, and on Ram Navami at 12 o’clock in the day, sun rays will be cast on the forehead of Lord Ramlala through an optomechanical system. Two mirrors and a lens have been installed on the temple’s ground floor. The sunlight will pass through three lenses and two mirrors installed on the second floor and fall on the last mirror installed on the ground floor. The rays reflected from this will form a tilak on the forehead. Scientists also tested it after Ram Lalla went to sleep on Sunday night. The celebrations will be Live telecasted on LED.
