The Mumbai office of the Narcotics Control Bureau on Monday has summoned Komal Ramplal, sister of Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal for interrogating a drugs-related case, in which the actor himself has already been interrogated by the NCB officials twice.
Komal, in her statement two days back, expressed her inability to appear before the NCB office due to some health issues. But today, she has been spotted in front of the office of the Narcotics Control Bureau, Mumbai.
“Arjun Rampal’s sister Komal Rampal, through her lawyer, had informed NCB on Wednesday that she would be unable to appear before them. Also, she has not sought any further date to appear”, stated an NCB source, asserting that the NCB will keep checking on her till she seeks a further date.
It is noteworthy that Arjun Rampal was also summoned and interrogated by the bureau twice, over 6 hours at a stretch each time. Reportedly, the actor had presented a prescription before the Narcotics Control Bureau officials, which contained some medicines that have been banned under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. The NCB has been checking on the authenticity of the prescription.
