Bollywood: SRK and Alia Bhatt shared screen space in 2016’s hit movie Dear Zindagi. Now they are going to reunite again on the work front but as a producer-actor duo! SRK’s next production- ‘Darlings’ is set in the backdrop of a middle-class family and shows a mother-daughter relationship passing through different phases of life is all set to go floors soon.
A source from the team says, “It’s set in Mumbai against the backdrop of a middle-class family and traces the lives of two women, as they find courage and love in exceptional circumstances”.
He further added, “In fact, the movie is gearing up for a release this year itself. The pre-production work is going on full swing, and the team is all ready to take it on floors very soon in Mumbai”.
Team SRK is working on several other projects apart from ‘Darlings’ that includes Love Hostel featuring Bobby Deol and Vikrant Massey and Bob Biswas featuring Abhishek Bachchan, which is in the post-production stage.
SRK, on the other hand is currently shooting for Pathan that has Deepika Padukone as the lead opposite him and john Abraham who plays the antagonist in the movie.
