HYDERABAD: A haunting Shradda Walker like murder is reported from Hyderabad where the dismembered body was found in a black cover. The accused has been arrested on Wednesday said the police.
The incident surfaced after the police received a complaint on May 17th. A GHMC worker reportedly found a severed head in the garbage dumping place opposite Afzal Nagar Community Hall, near Musi river, beside Theegalguda road. Following the complaint an 8 member team was constituted to nab the accused.
The accused identified as B. Chandra Mohan (48) in 2018 had taken a loan of Rs 7 lalh from the deceased identified as a nurse from Care hospital. During the interogation he revealed that Y Anuradha Reddy(55) was pestering to return her money which made him feel disgusted and prompted to hatch a plan to kill her. Reports also reveal the duo were in a relationship.
Probe revealed the accused executed the planned murder on May 12th. “As per the plan, on May 12, in the afternoon the accused picked up a quarrel with the deceased on the issue of paying her amount and attacked her with a knife and inflicted stab injuries over her chest and stomach, as a result of which she died on the spot,” the police official said.
He then purchased two stone cutting machines to dismember the body for easy disposal. He then threw the head in the dumping yard on May 15 while preserved the other body parts in the fridge. A probe into his activities revealed he repeatedly bought dettol, agarbati and other scented products to keep away the foul smell in the vicinity.
