Officials said that security personnel including those from paramilitary forces have been deployed to keep a strict vigil.
Haryana Director General of Police Shaturjeet Kapur said today that the administration has denied permission for yatra due to a meeting of G20 Sherpa Group scheduled from September 3 to 7. Security at inter-state and inter-district borders have also been tightened to maintain law and order in the aftermath of July 31 violence.
Apprehending to the spread of rumors through social media ahead of or during the rally, the government also announced the decision to suspend mobile internet from August 26 to 28. 1900 Haryana Police personnel besides 24 companies of paramilitary forces have been deployed. The traffic movement on the KMP Expressway and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway shall continue normally.
