MUMBAI: The Indian currency on Monday, reversed gains from the earlier session to fall sharply against the battered Dollar.
At the interbank forex, the rupee traded in the 80.5125 to 81.2838 range with the Rupee pushed beyond the 81 mark.
Meanwhile, the gold price in the national capital rose by Rs 255 to 52,850 per 10 grams. Silver in sync also surged by Rs 561 costing Rs 62,440 per kg.
The yellow metal in the previous trade had had settled at Rs 52,595 per 10 grams.
