New Delhi: In a shocking incident, two women were shot dead in Delhi’s RK Puram on early Sunday morning. The shooting incident took place in RK Puram’s Ambedkar Basti and has been caught on camera. According to the eyewitness, there was a dispute over money matter and the fight escalated after a few people with pistols fired randomly.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has condemned the killings and has blamed the central government for the law and order situation in Delhi. Kejriwal said that the central government has failed to provide adequate security to the people of Delhi. He has also demanded that the central government should take immediate steps to improve the law and order situation in the city.
“Our thoughts are with the families of both women. May their soul rest in peace, the people of Delhi have started feeling very insecure. The people who have to handle law and order of Delhi, instead of fixing law and order, they are conspiring to capture the entire Delhi government. Today, if Delhi’s law and order was under AAP government instead of LG, then Delhi would have been safest”, tweeted CM Kejriwal.
The killings have once again raised concerns about the law and order situation in Delhi. The city has witnessed a number of high-profile cases of violence in recent years. In 2020, four people were killed in the Jahangirpuri riots. In 2021, a man was brutally murdered in the Ghaziabad district.
The law and order situation in Delhi has been a major concern for the people of the city. The people have been demanding that the government take immediate steps to improve the situation.
