New Delhi: Intensifying the protest called by Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA) over the delay in NEET-PG 2021 counselling, the resident doctors of several Centre & state-run hospitals in the national capital call to boycott routine as well as emergency services, from Dec 6 onwards sources informed.
Earlier on Friday, resident doctors of the Centre-run RML, Safdarjung and Lady Hardinge hospitals in Delhi boycotted all routine services expressing solidarity with FORDA. Health care experts at government-run facilities like the LNJP Hospital and the DDU Hospital also denied to render services despite emergency attendance.
Resident doctors of the three Centre-run hospitals in the national capital had withdrawn from rendering OPD services from November 27 to November 29 as a mark of protest against the delay in NEET-PG 2021 counselling called out by FORDA. Doctor associations across several states also staged protest demanding an immediate action by the authorities.
