Technology: Reliance Jio, the largest provider of 4G network in the telecom and digital communication industry was entitled the strongest brand in India by Brand Finance.
Jio, established in 2016 by Mukesh Ambani, gained a huge crowd in a short time, and ranked third largest mobile network operator across the globe with over 400 million subscribers.
The spectrum partner with Reliance took the nation by a storm offering its 4G services for free and subsequently cascading the Jio effect across the nation.
“The dominance of the Jio brand across the nation is evident from the results of Brand Finance’s original market research. Jio scores highest in all metrics consideration, conversion, reputation, recommendation, word of mouth, innovation, customer service, and value for money compared to its telecom competitors in India”, said Savio D’Souza, Valuation Director, Brand Finance.

With a strong brand equity, the Ambani telecom provider ranked amongst the top 10 most valuable brands of the nation for the first time.
Brand Finance labelled Taj, Maruti Suzuki, HDFC Bank and Britannia amongst the strongest five brands.
However, Tata Group cherished the title of India’s most valuable brand with a brand value of $21.3 billion. The crowd puller vanquished the pandemic and emerged successful, recording 6% growth in the brand value for year 2021. With over 30 companies under its umbrella, the Tata Group fortified its strategies to elude the damage from COVID-19.
Citing the 2 % increase in brand value of India’s top 100 brands, Brand Finance lauded the firms that managed to uplift their brand equity amidst the lockdowns.
