New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi today held a press conference at 10 a.m. at the Indira Bhavan auditorium in the national capital. Rahul Gandhi’s last press conference was held on August 7. In it, he presented an analysis of 2024 general election data from a Lok Sabha seat in Karnataka and alleged vote theft. Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi accused Gyanesh Kumar, saying the Karnataka CID has sent 18 letters in 18 months to the Election Commission seeking destination IPs, device destination ports and OTP trails for allegedly fake applications — requests the EC has refused, he claimed, adding that the withheld data will reveal where the operation is being run. He alleged that the Election Commission, in collusion with the BJP, was stealing votes, calling it a crime against the Constitution.

Election Commission of India, responding to Rahul Gandhi’s fresh vote chori charge refuted Leader of Opposition allegations, says no member of the public can delete votes online. The Election Commission of India has termed Rahul Gandhi’s allegations against the Chief Election Commissioner as baseless and incorrect after the Leader of the Opposition big vote chori charge in the latest press meeting.

Rahul Gandhi is running a disinformation campaign. He should stop this whataboutery. I dare him to go to court and place facts, says BJP spokesperson Tom Vadakkam after the Leader of the Opposition fresh vote chori charge in a press conference.

In fact, in Patna, Rahul Gandhi had said, “Now we’re bringing the hydrogen bomb” regarding vote theft. However, it’s not yet clear what issue he will address at the press conference. Previously, he had dropped the atomic bomb on vote theft.

He stated that after this revelation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be unable to face the country. Citing data from the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Rahul claimed that more than 100,000 votes were “stolen” through rigging in the Mahadevapura Assembly constituency in Karnataka. He also stated that vote theft is a nuclear bomb on our democracy and a serious threat to our country’s democratic structure.

Earlier on September 1, during the final day of his Voter Rights Yatra in Bihar, Gandhi warned that the country would soon learn the ‘truth of vote theft,’ calling it a ‘hydrogen bomb bigger than the atom bomb’.

He said, “After this hydrogen bomb, Narendra Modi won’t be able to show his face to the nation.”
