The phenomenal singer and actor in the Punjabi film industry, Diljit Dosanjh turns 37 on Wednesday. On his birthday, along with his co-actors, thousands of his fans are showering him with heartiest wishes on social media.

Not only the co-stars but Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has also tweeted ‘warm wishes’ for the pop-star. CM Singh took to his Twitter handle this morning, to write – “Warm wishes to @diljitdosanjh on his birthday. May Waheguru bless you with a long, healthy & happy life”.

The singer-turned-actor was born on January 6, 1984. Besides setting a milestone in the Punjabi film industry with his tremendous voice, he decided to try his hands at acting, and soon became a superstar with his significant performances in back-to-back releases.

Later on, he debuted in Bollywood as the second lead in Udta Punjab, and soon after, signed a number of Bollywood blockbusters, taking almost no time to gain popularity in the B-town as well.

Notably, last year in December, the Dosanjhwala raised his voice for the protesting farmers, besides donating an amount of Rs. 1 crore for their winter clothes.
