NEW DELHI: A four-member team from FSL arrived at Tihar jail on Friday afternoon for post-narco analysis of Aaftab Poonawala who has been charged with the murder and dismemberment of his live-in partner, Shraddha Walker in Mehrauli. Sources in the know stated that two senior scientists and two supporting staff along with the investigating officers arrived at Central Jail No 4 for a ‘post-narco-interview’ with Aaftab.
The teams carried out a detailed interview to rule out all chances of ambiguity. It is learned that the post-nacro setup was conducted in the jail keeping in mind the risk involved in the transportation of Aaftab.
The answers that Aaftab Amin Poonawala, the accused in the Shraddha Walker’s murder, gave in his polygraph and narco-analysis tests and during the police interrogation are the same, police sources said on Friday. Sources added that the confessions of Poonawala during his 14 days of police custody are similar to those in response to the questions asked during his polygraph and narco-analysis test. He accepted to have killed his live-in-girlfriend and also confessed to having disposed off her body parts in different locations across the forest areas of Delhi, the source added
The police are yet to receive the DNA reports. Since more than 13 bones had been recovered so far, only the quantum and quality of specific bones would be matched by the doctor to ascertain and confirm the death of Walker. and are still hunting the skull along with other missing parts of Shraddha.
