New Delhi: Several newly elected Members of Parliament have been called for a meeting at Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi’s house on Sunday morning. These MPs will likely take oath of office at the PM Narendra Modi’s Oath-Taking Ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan today, along with the Prime Minister-elect.

Meanwhile, TDP leader Jayadev Galla revealed the names of two MPs who will take oath with Modi.

Galla wrote on X that MP Ram Mohan Naidu will take oath as a Cabinet minister. Another MP, Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani will become minister of state in the new council of ministers.

A three-layered security has been put in place at Rashtrapati Bhawan where he will be administered oath of office by President Droupadi Murmu. Officials said commandos from Delhi Police’s SWAT and NSG have been deployed around the venue and other strategic locations as Delhi remains on high alert for the event.

The Delhi Police has imposed a ban on the flying of sub-conventional aerial platforms over the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi during the swearing-in ceremony of the Narendra Modi-led central government on June 9. This precautionary measure aims to ensure the safety of the general public, dignitaries, and vital installations.

India has invited several leaders from neighboring countries to attend PM Modi’s swearing-in ceremony, who is set to become the Prime Minister for a third consecutive term. Narendra Modi oath ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 9 at 7:15 pm at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The same evening, the Council of Ministers will also take their oaths of office and secrecy, forming part of the Prime Minister’s new cabinet.
