The two nations aim to enhance collaboration in semiconductor technology, 5G and 6G networks, quantum computing, and high-end computing. They have also committed to promoting policies and adapting regulations to facilitate partnerships between industry, government, and academic institutions in both countries.
PM Modi’s visit was also marked by a state dinner at the White House, where President Biden and PM Modi celebrated the new era of friendship between the two nations. While focusing on strengthening ties, both leaders alluded to the need for a strategic counterweight to China without directly criticising Beijing.
