Karnataka: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Bangalore today, 5 May for the upcoming Karnataka Polls later this month. According to the schedule, the Prime Minister will visit Bangalore today, at 5 PM and due to this reason, the traffic police has also issued an advisory for the people travelling between 5 PM to 7 PM.
The traffic police released a statement informing that the citizens must avoid the Old Airport Road, Cambridge Layout Road, 100 Feet Road, ASC Centre, Trinity Circle, MG Road, Webbs Junction, Manipal Centre, Dickenson Road, Cubbon Road, BRV Junction, Raj Bhavan Roads, today from 5 PM to 7 PM.
It has also been confirmed that the Prime Minister will be hosting a roadshow in Bangalore on 6 May which will be covering a total distance of 36 kilometres. This roadshow is also a part of BJP’s campaigning for the upcoming Karnataka Polls to be held on 10 May. The roadshow will cover a distance of 10 kms from 11 AM to 1 PM and the remaining distance from 4 PM to 10 PM.
The Karnataka Polls 2023 will begin on 10 May and the results will be declared on 13 May. Due to this reason, many political parties are having their campaigns in Karnataka. Rajiv Kumar, Chief Election Commissioner revealed that this time a total of 9.17 lakh people will be voting in the Karnataka Polls.
