Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead a mega roadshow and address two rallies in poll-bound Jharkhand on Sunday (November 10, 2024).PM Modi will address a public rally in Bokaro at 1 p.m. and another in Gumla at 3.15 p.m.. He will lead a mega roadshow in Ranchi in the evening, according to the state BJP.
The roadshow is scheduled to begin at 5.15 p.m. from OTC Ground and culminate at New Market Chowk, informed state BJP through a tweet on X.
According to an advisory issued by the traffic police, entry of all small and big goods vehicles will be restricted in the state capital between 2 pm and 8 pm. In Gumla he will seek votes for BJP candidate Sudarshan Bhagat. On Saturday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP president JP Nadda and other party leaders addressed multiple poll rallies in the state. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also addressed several rallies on November 8 and 9.
Last week, PM Modi addressed rallies in Chaibasa and Garhwa on November 5, a day after Union Home Minister Amit Shah released the BJP’s manifesto for Jharkhand assembly polls. Duirng his Chaibasa rally, PM Modi said that steps will be taken to stop infiltration if a BJP-led government is formed in Jharkhand and laws will framed to return usurped land to tribal women. He also highlighted the party’s slogan of ‘roti, beti aur maati’ (bread, daughters, and land), saying people want BJP-led NDA to come to power in the assembly polls
